In my opinion games like WoW get away with that (barely) because they're already packed with content, and the class comes with new zones, weapons, armour, raids, dungeons, quests, etc. Of course there'll be at least one instance where the ability is awesome, but Warriors can't handle what they pull if they manage to get multiple mobs in their AoE ability. The Warrior's whirlwind is "OP" in one zone. The Guardian isn't so much badly balanced as broken. Sure, the Mage can be argued as being "OP" because it has range or guns down things faster, but it's a DPSer with faults.

In a game that desperately needs that, hiding it behind a paywall isn't a good idea unless there's other alternatives. As much as I hate the Holy Trinity, I feel it's a necessary evil.īut back to Shoemaker's point: I feel that if any class is "Overpowered" it would be the Tank, because of their self-heal and ability to taunt. Currently though, Tanking isn't effective until there's a healer and DPS that can bring down enemies in a decent enough time (I'm talking about packs here the individual power of mobs is fine 1v1. When the ability that redirects enemies toward said Guardian doesn't bug out, it can be useful. I'll begin by saying the Guardian tanks better *in theory*. I've agreed with you both until this point, although my gripe is a minor one. a transformation.whatever as long as that item isn't OP i don't really see a problem, they are a business bills need to be paided. If AE want to offer premiun content a class. If we are going to split hairs like that then Warrior with it's spin to win is broken & Mage with it's ridiculous attack range & run to win is also broken. The best classes in the game at the moment are all free. I realize it may be beating a dead horse but neglecting their old promises isn't really a good sign.Originally posted by The Fourth Shoemaker on the left:A class being able to tank sligthly more than another class isn't really an issue i would consider as broken. Personally, I agree with this view, those who had got guardian and dragon amulet status in their prior games were indeed told it would carry on to their other games, so there should be absolutely no reason why they shouldn't honor what they originally told people. has done an amazing job when it comes to rewarding fans. Also the fact that it has been a consistent trend to have loyalty rewards should be enough reason in itself to give one in this game. It shows appreciation for sticking it out this long and being loyal fans and supporters. I absolutely feel like we should get some kind of reward for having supported previous games. So I guess at this stage it's normal for us to be expectant of such inter game loyalty rewards. For example take the Guardian and Dragon amulet status gives access to the guardian and dragon slayer classes in AQW. I guess one of the deciding factors for some of us to get membership in the first place across select Atrix entertainment game titles was the fact that those perks would carry over to other games. The time & money i have put in to AE's other games for me has been time & money well spent, at no point while purchasing in another game did i think to myself "can't wait for those future rewards from games that don't exist yet!" I have upgraded accounts in AE's other games but i don't feel like i should be rewarded for this.why should i? Originally posted by The Fourth Shoemaker on the left:Guess i'm in the minority then?!
